FINALLY, I got my little guy's crib up and ready for his arrival. I have been waiting for many months for this to happen. I am super happy that I can now officially 'Nest'. With 9 weeks before my due date and all it's seems hard to believe that this time is coming soon.
The crib is very simple and a basic 3 way convertible. The theme for the most part is just letters and animals. Who knows maybe I will find a really cute monkey or something to go with it. I have blankets from when I was a child and even one from Granny, my step-mom's grandmother who passed away years ago that I have held on to. Some of the blankets my mom made and even one from her mother who made one for me as a little girl. I love that I can combine old and newer into my child's life.
I need to thank my Dad and Teresa for getting this super gift for me/us. This is the first Byrd grandchild and I have a feeling that they are getting more and more excited about this happening. My dad was also the one who got to help put the crib together and helped move my big bed around so this could be done. Thank goodness, it comes with wheels.
